Ethereal Nordic Twilight

Soralith's first exploration into furniture—pure material shaped through proportion, balance, and joinery.

ABOUT THE SERIES

Ethereal Nordic Twilight

Not a Finished Collection

Ethereal Nordic Twilight represents the beginning of a material language. Each piece is a prototype—not just in function, but in thought. This is Soralith's first exploration into objects and furniture as a conceptual practice.

Tested through proportion, balance, and joinery, these pieces examine stone as a medium for design experimentation. They are studies in form, material behavior, and craft—each one contributing to our evolving understanding of how stone can be used beyond traditional applications.

This is not mass production. This is an ongoing development process. The pieces in this series represent our current thinking—proposals rather than conclusions.

Design Approach

Prototype Methodology

01/

Proportion

Each prototype is tested through careful study of proportion—exploring how form and void interact. The relationship between scale, mass, and space is fundamental to our inquiry.

02/

Balance

We examine how weight and visual gravity affect material perception. Each piece investigates the physical and aesthetic equilibrium that defines memorable objects.

03/

Joinery

Material connections are treated as an expression of craft. The way stone meets stone, stone meets other materials—these joints are design decisions, not engineering necessities.

04/

Materiality

Wood & Stone in its purest form. We study how natural variation, surface qualities, and tactile properties contribute to the objects' presence and meaning.
